Top 4 Ways on How to View iCloud Photos Online

By Nathan E. Malpass, Last updated: October 21, 2019

iCloud is a cloud data storage platform offered by Apple to its device users. Its main purpose is to sync content (including applications and photos) among all Apple devices of a user. Thus, because of this syncing functionality, a user can access his or her data from any iOS device anytime, anywhere.

All media files you captured on your iOS devices can be uploaded to that of iCloud. We can view iCloud photos online. This is possible only if you turn on the synchronization of the “iCloud Photo Library” on all iOS devices you have.

iCloud gives its users 5GB worth of storage space for free. In order to have more storage space, you have to pay a certain amount of money. Or, you might want to free up more space by deleting unnecessary files and moving the important ones to other storage platforms (or devices).

Once the option for iCloud Photos is activated, each image and video you capture using your iOS device (and added towards the Photos app) from any iOS device you have, will be moved to one library and then uploaded to that of iCloud. This happens automatically and you’ve had remote access to your media files.

Since your media files are in iCloud, you can easily view iCloud photos online through any device that you want. In this guide, we’ll teach you how to do it. For instance, we’ll teach you how to view iCloud Photos through your iPad or iPhone.

We’ll also teach you how to do it on an Android device or a Windows PC. But first, we’ll tell you how to make better use of iCloud’s storage space by using a transfer tool to move your files (including your photos) from one platform to another. Let’s get started.
