dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p27 of=/cache/myfifo
- “mmcblk0p27” is the location on the phone where the data was lost. This can vary per device
- FileZilla will copy the data from your phone to the folder labeled 000
- Next is to convert the RAW file into a VHD format. Download a VHD software to perform this conversion
- Copy the VHDTool.exe file into the 000 folder
- Open the console and enter these:
cd C:/cygwin64/000/ VhdTool.exe /convert mmcblk0p27.raw
- Mount the VHD in Windows. To do this, open the Disk Management on your computer
- Click Action on top and click Attach VHD
- Provide the file location.
- Right-click it and select Initialize Disk, GUID Partition Table GPT.
