Android Root User Guide: Root Your Android Phone with One Click

Why We Need to Root Our Android Phone or Tablet ?

Have you just bought a new Android smartphone or tablet, but are having trouble installing the apps that you want because they are incompatible with your device?

Are you constantly disturbed by advertisements that pop-up whenever you play your favorite games, streaming a movie, or chatting with your special someone?

Would you like to be able to change your Android skins and customize them to your favorite theme, keyboards, and icons?

Have you ever wanted to access Android features such as attaching a Playstation controller to your phone to play games and download apps that aren't available in your country?

If you agree with any or all of these questions, then it may be time to learn how to root your Android phone or tablet.

What Are The Things to Consider before Rooting Your Android Phone or Tablet?

  • You need to fully understand what rooting is and what it means for your device - Not only is it dependent on your device's model, but also, it might be more difficult or impossible (at the moment) to root newer smartphone or tablet models. Do your research first, and make sure you get reliable information on whether your phone or tablet can be rooted or not.
  • You need to fully understand how to root your device - Rooting your device comes with certain risks, and if you don't do it correctly, you might just "brick" your phone or tablet, making it unusable. This is completely avoidable if you do your research and understand the process of doing it for your device. And of course, make sure you choose your rooting method wisely!
  • You need to make sure you're okay with losing your device's warranty - If your smartphone or tablet is new, you probably have at least one year of warranty for it. If you're okay with losing your warranty, then by all means, go and root your device.
  • Make sure you backup your device first - Apart from the risk of bricking your phone (if you don't do your rooting correctly), there's a small risk of losing data from your micro SD card and internal memory, so backup your data, just in case. It is never sorry to be on the safe side, after all!
  • Make sure you have your device's drivers installed and ready, just in case - If rooting is done unsuccessfully, it can still modify some components of your operating system and make your device not work properly. Your device's drivers are important to be able to repair and restore these modified or lost components. So make sure you have them installed on your PC or laptop!

Step 2: Connect Your Android Phone to Your Computer

Using a USB cable, connect your Android smartphone or tablet to your PC or laptop.

Make sure that USB debugging is turned on on your device so that the program can detect it. If USB debugging is not turned on, a pop-up message will appear on your phone, asking you to enable USB debugging. Tap on “OK” to enable it.

connect to PC

Note: If the above method does not work for you, you may need to access "Developer Mode" on your phone first. To do this, go to your Settings menu, click on "About phone" and look for "Build Number". Tap on this seven (7) times. A pop-up message will appear, saying that you are now a developer. Go to your main Settings menu again and look for "Developer Options". Click on "Developer Options" and check the tick box beside USB debugging to enable USB debugging on your device.

Note: It is important to enable USB debugging on your device as this allows your phone to communicate with your computer in a more effective manner. Make sure you don't skip this step, or else the Android rooting will not start.

Step 3: Wait for The Program to Detect Your Android

Wait for a few minutes to allow the program to detect your Android smartphone or tablet.

Note:

  1. Please don`t disconnect the device during the process.
  2. The phone will restart sometimes during the process.
  3. It will take a longer time to detect some devices. Please be patient.

Step 4: Start Rooting.

After the program has successfully detected your device, rooting can now begin. Click on “Root Now” to start the rooting process for your Android smartphone or tablet.

Step 5: Root Completed.

During the rooting process, a pop-up message will appear on your smartphone or tablet, asking you if you would like to root the device. Tap on “Confirm” to continue with the rooting process. The rooting process will take a few minutes. Again, be patient, as the benefits are definitely worth waiting for!

After a few minutes, the program will indicate that rooting has been completed. And that's it! Congratulations, your Android smartphone or tablet has now been rooted! Pretty easy, huh? That's how wonderful the FoenDog Toolkit for Android is! It's definitely worth your time and bucks!
